The world keeps traveling even with social distance. See rules in some countries

In the last three years, surveys related to tourism have been betting on isolation tourism as a travel trend. But now, with the need to remain isolated, industry experts believe that the search for remote destinations should gain even more strength, and in all tourism niches.

More than taking a vacation, in this moment of the pandemic, isolation tourism has become an opportunity to “change the air”.

More than ever, hostels and any type of vacation rental property depend enormously on how they can communicate with potential guests about the safety and hygiene of their spaces. Today the traveler does not just want to know if he is being well cleaned, but exactly how things are being cleaned.

Another concern of travelers is about the rules for entering each country. Since most tourists do not want to spend time quarantining outside the home.

For this reason, see below some countries that do not require quarantine to enter their borders.

Cuba

Cuba will reopen to international visitors starting November 15. The borders were already partially open in specific parts of the country, such as Cayo Largo Del Sur, Cayo Coco, Cayo Guillermo, Cayo Santa María, and Cayo Cruz.

Requirements: Asymptomatic travelers do not need to quarantine. Tests for Covid-19 detection are offered free of charge on arrival at the airport.

Spain

Spain will require from November 23 a negative coronavirus test done within 72 hours for travelers arriving from countries at high risk of contagion from Covid-19.

The country uses the European Union’s criteria to define which countries are classified as high risk, and require test certificates in Spanish or English at airports.

Dubai (United Arab Emirates)

The United Arab Emirates announced the reopening of borders for tourists on July 7. However, passengers from and 31 countries with a high number of cases are required to be tested twice when traveling to Dubai. The exam costs US$ 70. Each emirate has its own rules.

Requirements: Visitors will be required to present a medical certificate proving the negative result of the Covid-19 test, performed less than 96 hours before departure. Anyone who tests positive for the coronavirus will have to be isolated in a facility for 14 days at their own expense. Visitors are subject to a new test upon arrival. It is also necessary to present health insurance.

Maldives

International tourism in the Maldives has resumed since July 15th. Many resorts have a reduced capacity to receive tourists with strict sanitary standards and social distance. There is no charge for extra fees or quarantine for those who do not show symptoms.
